Dr. Matthew Viscito
Dr. Matthew Viscito
Family Physician

Dr. Viscito, originally from New Jersey, graduated from St. Joseph's Family Medicine Residency in Paterson, New Jersey where he was the chief resident. He enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine and has a special interest in newborn care, pediatrics, chronic disease management such as diabetes, high blood pressure, geriatrics and dermatology care. He admits patients to Altru Hospital and sees patients in the Grand Forks office. He and his wife have one son. They are enjoying their new home state of North Dakota and have become big fans of Sioux Hockey.

Dr. Kristi Midgarden
Family Physician

Dr. Midgarden is a board-certified family physician. She graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and completed the UND Family Practice Residency Program in Grand Forks, ND. Before joining Aurora Family Medicine Associates, Dr. Midgarden practiced medicine for several years in her hometown of Park River, ND. Her special interests involve all areas of family medicine including pediatrics, women’s health, geriatrics and prenatal care. She admits patients to Altru Hospital and sees patients in both the Park River and Grand Forks office She is married with two children.

Dr. Mark Peterson
Family Physician

Dr. Peterson is a native of Grand Forks and a graduate of UND School of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. For twelve years he worked as a physician for the indigenous Eskimo populations surrounding Bethel and Nome, Alaska. He helped develop a GI endoscopy clinic there and practiced upper endoscopy and colonoscopy in AK for over ten years. He returned to Grand Forks in 2005 to start Family Medicine Associates. He is committed to providing comprehensive, independent, full-service care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. He admits patients to Altru Hospital and sees patients in the Grand Forks office. He is married and has five children.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Amy Suda, a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, was born and raised in Grafton, ND. She completed both her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and her Master’s Degree at the University of North Dakota to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, with a special interest in women’s health, acne and dermatology care, pediatrics, geriatrics and chronic disease management. She and her husband farm in rural Grafton. Amy schedules appointments and sees patients in both Park River and Grand Forks.

Liz Sickler
Elizabeth Sickler - PA-C
Physician Assistant

Elizabeth Sickler grew up in Billings, Montana. She completed her bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology at Montana State University - Bozeman. She continued her education in Billings, Montana and received her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College. Her clinical training for Physician Assistant was done in Grand Forks. She is dedicated to providing the best care possible to all patients. Her special interests are pediatrics and women's health.
